We’re the first European food-tech startup developing cultivated pork from mammalian cells and microalgae. Our unique microalgae-based technology aims to eliminate key scale-up barriers and accelerate the entire cultivated meat industry.

We recently received the Seal of Excellence – a recognition from the European Commission that marks our project as one of the most innovative in biotech and foodtech across Europe. Our R&D is supported by stable and competitive funding, including three national grants and one European grant. We have a strong team of scientists with deep knowledge of mammalian and microalgae cell cultivation.

What we need from you 💻

You’re a bioprocess expert with hands-on experience in optimizing mammalian cell culture systems, comfortable working with both small and large-scale bioreactors. You’ll be a key link in transferring our laboratory processes into scalable, production-ready workflows.

What you’ll do:

• Design and optimize culture conditions for mammalian cells
• Operate and scale bioreactor systems from lab to pilot and industrial scale
• Collaborate with the team to transfer R&D processes to production settings
• Ensure process consistency and quality in compliance with GMP/GLP standards
• Draft and manage documentation, SOPs, and technical reports
• Contribute to the development of innovative strategies for efficient cell growth and product yield

Who we’re looking for:

• Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering, Cell Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field
• (or MSc with 9+ years, or BSc with 10+ years of relevant industry experience)
• Strong background in cell biology, biochemistry, and bioprocess development
• Hands-on experience developing culture conditions for mammalian cells
• Proven expertise in working with small- and large-scale bioreactors
• Team player with a problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills
• Proficient in planning, executing, and analyzing bioprocess experiments
