Research Council Faroe Islands invites applications for marine research in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is the second of two calls in a programme funded by the Danish Government to encourage collaborative research between Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Denmark.
The call is for proposals focused on marine processes related, but not limited, to the Greenland-Iceland-Faroe-Scotland Ridge.
The Ridge is an important geographical boundary between the North Atlantic Ocean and the subarctic seas and is a region of large scientific complexity in most marine disciplines.
The total budget for the call is 7.8 million DKK. The aim is to fund two or three projects.
The final submission date is August 25th, 2022.
